Campaign Fund Contributors List Identity, Appeal from Sandiaga Uno

KolomFakta. Candidate for vice president number 02 Sandiaga Salahudin Uno appreciated the people who had contributed campaign funds to Prabowo-Sandi. He also appealed for donations to be made according to the mechanism of the General Election Commission (KPU), which promotes transparency.

"The principle is know your contributor. Every fund that comes in we must know the people. Donations from big entrepreneurs and so on will also be given equal treatment and a very transparent concept," Sandiaga said in a written statement on Tuesday.

"Because according to KPU rules, if the identity of the collector is unclear, the donation must be returned by the BPN and later it will be entered into the state treasury," he added. He revealed this in the Prabowo-Sandi Team Winning Campaign Report on Jalan Sriwijaya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday.

Sandi said that to this day he has been socializing at 970 points in Indonesia. Almost every visit there is community participatory politics in the form of donations. Because donations are given spontaneously, the community does not give their identity clearly.

He admitted that he was happy with the high interest of the people who volunteered to contribute. According to him, the contribution is a reflection that the community participates in fighting for the changes they expect.

"This makes me even more enthusiastic. It turns out that people change one constellation which in my opinion makes us proud, because each time they sincerely make a contribution. This is part of their struggle," he said.

Meanwhile the Director of Material and Debate of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi, Sudirman Said said that community participation in supporting Prabowo-Sandi's struggle was a new phenomenon in the universe of the country's politics. If it is only in the form of money, according to him, the donations given also take the form of props such as stickers, t-shirts, calendars, banners, and private cars used for branding and campaign interests.

"Community assistance may have been almost Rp. 10 billion, not including campaign props printed by themselves. We express our gratitude to the community," Sudirman said.

Sudirman said he was optimistic that the size of community participation in contributing would be an additional spirit for Prabowo-Sandi to win the 2019 Presidential Election.

"We want our politics to change into participatory politics, not merely a politics of mobilization. God willing, towards April 2019 we are not more sad but stronger, because it contributes so much from the community," he continued.
